Free Games and Stories for your Family

I am just popping up this quick post to let you know about these two free resources for your family at this time. You may be looking for something new to do with your kids while you are stuck at home, so here are two websites which are offering free downloadable games or illustrated classic stories.

At this time when we can’t get out and about and it may be frustrating trying to entertain your children, it is lovely to see that there are businesses who are doing their best to support families.

Free Games:

Asmodee is a boardgames supplier and they have kindly offered six games for free which can be downloaded and printed at home. The games on offer are: Timeline, Unlock, Dixit, Cortex, Combo Colour and Dobble.

We have played three of these games ourselves and I have written reviews on two of them if you would like more information (click on the bold and underlined names above).

Click the button to access the games:

Free Stories:

Sooper Books is a new website offering beautifully illustrated classic stories which you can read to your children. Stories include favourites such as Rapunzel, the Princess and the Pea, the Three Little Pigs, the Elves and the Shoemaker, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and more. You will also find a few original quirky tales of their own! They are constantly updating the website and adding more stories so pop on over and keep checking!

Click on the button below to visit the website:

I am also currently running a giveaway to win a personalised illustration by Charlene, the award winning illustrator of the Sooper Books duo as well as 4 downloadable professionally narrated audio books. There are still a few days left to enter so click the button to enter!

If you know of any other websites that are offering free family games and stories, I would love to hear in the comments below. Let’s support one another with ideas and build up our communities together while we remain apart.
